The Lost Sheep

Last week, or the week before that (name that tune!) we went to our Bishop's house for supper and FHE. The Bishop's amazing wife had waited for us to get there to feed the lambs. They were so cute! She had the bottles warmed and ready for the kids. M loved it. J couldn't stand there long enough for the poor thing to drink it all but he liked petting them- and running around. I think the noise of all the sheep distracted him. So after feeding the lambs we ate, and then she presented a beautiful lesson about how the Savior loves every one of us. She had coloring pages for the kids and was very patient with J's wiggles.
Her lesson really got me thinking about how much the Savior must love those who are lost. If we do service, pray for, and visit those we are trying to bring back into the fold, do we not love them more? If so, then I think Christ must love those who he wants to get back on the straight and narrow in a special way. What do you think?
Mathew 18:12
"How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.
Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish."
