Spring in January

J's Birthday

Well, we made it to #2! J had a great day! It started out with a new tool bench and bath toy. Then he got some balloons with a dancing dog, followed by a good nap! Then we went to Jumping G's, and then we had a big party. He seemed to really like it and only wanted the basketball cupcakes!

Dinner scavenger hunt

I read about this idea in a magazine  and thought,"I'll never do that!" But then when I found out my adorable neices and nephew were coming over, I knew I had to do something!
first stop:the clues led us to Johnny's room for tuna sandwiches.
After more clues our second stop : eggrolls in the big tub. (I think the kids were a little grossed out even though I cleaned the tub.) Our final clues led us to the living room for corn on the cob. Then dessert at the kitchen table.very fun night!

Christmas Goodies

We had a blast with the Reeds making graham cracker houses. While we missed Ty it was fun eating and decorating with candy!

Kite Flying

The other day it was quite windy, and so we called Grandpa. Thankfully the master kite flyer stopped what he was doing and met us at the top of a hill. It was very fun!
