So for fhe we made chore charts! Lol we will see how it goes I'm hoping I won't feel quite so defeated by my house work. This is me at 7:30 Sunday night- ugh.and j in his bath last night.

Worn out

I considered detailing everything I did today, but that would just be too boring! Let me sum up: my day started at five am and I've basically been on the go since. Lots of cooking, cleaning, and child care. It was a pretty fun day but I'm worn out now!

Randomness

I like thunderstorms, but not when the thunder wakes the whole family. Wow was that ever loud! Also my feet are a tad swollen and very itchy from stupid fireants- but I showed them. Stupid ants serve no purpose in the world but to be a pest. This has been a busy week and I've done hardly any house work and it shows. Oh well.

Funnies

That girl of ours- you just never know what she'll think of next. Yesterday she said she had a néw game in her mouth: catch the alligator in the water. That means she made it up:). And at dinner she started this game out of the blue: "mom something is not right. Hmm let me think. -insert silly noise here- " it was pretty funny. On a more serious note, one of my sweet yw underwent a ten hour surgery today. Thankfully it went well. All day I just kept thinking about how blessed I am as a parent and what it would be like to have to sit at the hospital and wait for news that my daughter woke up from that. wow.

We had a fun day in tuscaloosa today. Even with leaving later than planned we still had time to do everything. Thanks family for helping my sanity-sometimes I just gotto get out.

Oh man!

Essentially a four letter word in our house- we taught m to say it instead of crap or something. I use it now because I just realized (like three minutes ago) I have no swim suit. I'm too chubby to buy a swim suit. I don't have any idea what size I'll be when it comes time for swimming. Ugh. I guess I just found my motivation to commit to a new exercise plan. Ugh. On a happier note: I started my t- shirt quilt yesterday. That's been on my to-do list for a couple of years:). Also our land lord gave me permission to plant a garden so I'm excited about that. Gotta get me some new gardening gloves!

"a nack"

Yesterday was just plain awful. I was awful and m was awful and j would not sleep. Here's what's funny (sorry no pic): while I was feeding j, m told me she was going to make a "nack" (she can't say an s with a consenant). So she climbed on the counter and got out the ingredients and brought them to me one at a time. Bread trail mix banana fruit gummies wheat thins and dried apple. Then I told her she could not make her snack in the living room so she carried it all back to the kitchen one at a time. There she proceded to make a sandwich with all those ingredients. Did she make a huge mess? Yes. Did she eat it? No! But, it is pretty funny to me anyway.

Hayfever

Here is a math problem for me: if I have a whole pie and M only eats one small slice, and J eats 0 slices, how much pie did I eat? :) yesterday I had hayfever pretty bad it was miserable I hope the rain will clean the air for me cuz my nose is raw and my head is fuzzy.

The funny thing about this pic is that m has to be in every photo we take of j. She jumps right in. The news of the day is that daddy spent the day in the hospital. I am just so thankful he will be ok, and that it wasn't something that caused permanent damage or serious side effects. God seems to have a special place in his heart for my parents.

Mommy Mess-Up Moment

We were in the grocery store and I saw a friend of mine who was shopping without her daughter. I sAid to her: "it must be nice to shop without kids." Then I looked at M and realized how that must have made her feel. The worst part about it is that she is so easy to shop with(for the most part).I felt so bad. I do truly enjoy my daughter and being with her. She is the best toddler I know.

Monday News

I cleaned the whole house- every room! That has not happened in a while, and is probably why M decided to throw up on my mopped floor and scrubbed tub. Poor little thing. J and I were a little bit freaking out cuz we did not want her having that bug that is going around. Last time she had a tummy bug she ended up in the hospital. Also we were worried about Johnny getting it. A said he prob would not so that is good. THANKFULLY we have had no more incidents so I'm hoping it was a random, isolated event. In other news, gonna have to get my dryer checked out, it is taking way too long to dry the clothes.
