We were in the grocery store and I saw a friend of mine who was shopping without her daughter. I sAid to her: "it must be nice to shop without kids." Then I looked at M and realized how that must have made her feel. The worst part about it is that she is so easy to shop with(for the most part).I felt so bad. I do truly enjoy my daughter and being with her. She is the best toddler I know.

I say stuff like that all the time! I keep telling myself I have to stop before she can remember it. I'm sure Maile probably wasn't even paying attention when you said it though!
